The wedi guarantee

As a manufacturer we offer a comprehensive guarantee for our products and system solutions. The basic idea is that wedi bases its guarantee on the requirements for sealing in wet areas.

However, the building law/contractual requirements applicable to the individual construction project are the responsibility of the installer.

This means, for example, that wedi provides a 15-year guarantee on the covered properties of the wedi products used in a wedi system shower for a construction project, even if the installer does not fully fulfil the sealing requirements (e.g. sealing of the floor is not carried out). wedi does not, however, accept any responsibility for ensuring that the work is carried out in accordance with standards. Consequently, the guarantee does not legitimise any installation situation. The requirements of standards and legislation are part of the necessary expertise of a specialised contractor.
