Technically advanced

Technology and systemised approach make the installation process much easier. "Both the design surfaces and the matching XPS elements already include the necessary recesses, drillholes and slopes," says Volkmar Harnischmacher, Head of Sales Channel Management & Marketing at wedi. Installation is also very simple: Top design surfaces are simply bonded with wedi 610 adhesive and sealant – without the need for elaborate drilling and screwing. The short drying time minimizes downtime so that the bathroom can be quickly used again. "If a special installation situation requires it, design surfaces as well as XPS elements can be easily adapted individually," adds Volkmar Harnischmacher. "For this purpose, conventional tools such as a hand-held circular saw are sufficient."
